Microsoft has announced that on October 15, 2020, it will no longer be supporting TLS 1.0 or 1.1, the encryption methodology used to communicate with Office 365.
Customers who use Office 365 to send eCMS or HRSS emails will be impacted by this Microsoft change.
Computer Guidance has created an update to utilize the supported TLS 1.2 encryption methodology. Non-hosted, On-premise eCMS customers who use Microsoft’s Office 365 to send emails via eCMS need to submit an incident to Computer Guidance to request the update.
Please check with your local IT resources to see if your system will be impacted by this change. Email configuration information is defined in eCMS via the Admin à Application Installations à Default eForm Output Locations menu item.
The update will be a dedicated install and will require dedicated system access to install.
Please perform this check promptly to ensure this is adequate time to schedule and install the fix before the October 15, 2020 deadline.
Please plan accordingly with your team and if you have any questions, let us know.
